Briauna Skye McKizzie

Briauna (Bri-Skye) is a "renaissance millennial" with 13+ years of experience in customer care, writing, performing, and event planning.
When not working her day job, her sleeves are rolled up, and she's focusing on her creative collective. Founded in 2018, Stay Litt PDX hosts community events that uplift the voices of marginalized populations and cultivate community.
She has written for GoLocalPDX, Source Oregon, and PDX Parent. In 2023, she realized she was funny and she was accepted into the Onion’s DAF comedy festival for 2023, held in Chicago.
After returning from that trip, she was elected to perform at an All Boats performance hosted and produced by Julia Bray. Later in the summer of 2023, she received more validation that she was entertaining when she earned second place in the storytelling competition Backfence PDX Story Roulette.

Currently, she's a contributing content writer and scriptwriter for the nonprofit Melanin Babies. She's also a grad student at Reed College and a student at the Actor's Lab based in Portland, OR.
When she’s not creating and performing, you can find her either mothering her child, crying (she’s a Pisces with bipolar), or googling “What is wire fraud and how can I do it too.”
